We get pushed around in different ways. Others make demands on our time and redirect our activities. Most of us have some kind of leadership abilities that are inborn. So we try to direct the affairs of everybody else. If we let others direct the activities in our lives, then we achieve their goals instead of our own.
When people try to interrupt us, we need to gently turn them on their way. We might say, “I’ll get to that later. I’m rather busy right now.”
It’s a matter of self-reliance and self-control and being able to push the world aside while we create our own world.
Life is short.
We cannot let others control our time had activities.
