I remember in the 1970s and later that we had constant bomb threats. One factory where I worked, we had about one every week. That meant we had to evacuate the factory and them make a clean sweep to try to locate a bomb. This went on less frequently in other factories where I worked. Now we are not just having threats, we are having bombs.
This last disaster in Boston reminded me of the roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan that have maimed and killed so many of our troops. I felt for the poor people in the blast. I was shelled more than once during the Korean War. It is a very unpleasant experience.
God Bless those who suffered and the families who have suffered such horrific loss.
